New wedding rings for 25th anniversary
My husband & I made 4 visits in as many weeks due to finding the perfect rings for our 25th wedding anniversary. Every staff member that we seen went above & beyond. Today 19/7/22 we finally got to put our new rings on after being sat in a boxes for 2weeks. Big thank you to all the staff

Honest and a Diamond!!!
This is to hype up how great I felt during my experience at beaverbrook today in the Trafford centre with Lydia!!! Can't praise her enough for her assistance not only did she help me find the perfect ring in my budget but was very honest and spoke openly about life experiences and made me feel like a friend!! She's an asset to the firm and once again I wish you all the best in your career in teaching!! Thanks again

Poor Service
We visited the branch of Beaverbrook's at Thurrock Lakeside yesterday and received very disappointing service. We told the girl who served us what watch we were interested in and that it was in the window. She told us that we probably knew more about it than she did! She went to the window display and came back with two watches as she wasn't sure which one we were interested in despite us giving her the make and model number. She did not inspire confidence and we were surprised with the lack of professionalism. Needless to say we did not make a purchase and won't be returning.

A perfect bogus service.
A perfect bogus service.. Never ever listen to their staff!!!

I'd think twice before entering any of their shops again. I bought a diamond ring for my husband as a surprise present for father's day from the Bluewater store. Having spoken with Laura, and with the assurance that if the size is not right, she will happily exchange or even refund it. The ring size was suggested based on my finger so it was already made clear to them that I was not 100% sure whether the ring size will be okay. I tried the ring instore, Laura as well and another male sales advisor even tried the ring. I was not 100% sure about it so was really reluctant to get it but Laura assured me that I can always bring it back. She went to pack the ring for me.
My husband got his present the next day on father's day and as expected the size is not correct. So he put it back in the box straightaway as it was loose on him. Two weeks later, we both went to the shop for an exchange. My husband tried some other similar rings as he wasn't exactly happy with the first choice. It didnt look good on him at all so he decided to get a refund. We were served by Tiarra and she took the ring for inspection before proceeding with the refund. She came back with a magnifying glass and said they can't accept the ring back because it is damaged. We told them that does not make any sense at all as the ring has been kept in the bag after my husband tried it on father's day for less than a few minutes. Apparently she said she cannot confirm what we did with the ring and there is no proof to support this. Absolute con!!! We never knew there was any damage. It is only when we went to the shop we were made aware of this.

This could have happened when the gentleman tried it or even before that. I'm not a ring expert to check with a magnifying glass. When Tiarra went to get some other rings for my husband to try ,she took the ring I bought as well with her. So it could have happened with her as well. My husband asked for the store manager. Actually it wasnt even useful thing to do, it was a waste of time. The manager pride themselves of their quality and service. The ring must have been checked by their staff before it leaves the store etc. She even stated that the ring is a very hard material and it is really difficult to cause any damage/scratch to the ring. So how by trying it, it was damaged.She is like contradicting her statement. Maybe Tiarra caused the damage unknowingly while it was in her custody. What in the world did my husband do to cause the damage if the ring material is supposed to be very rigid and strong quality. It was clear that both employees are on the same page and it is impossible to argue against them. Even my 12 year old daughter said the ring was tried on few people when they bought it, it could have happened with anyone. Why will we cause any damage to a ring which doesnt fit and then be stuck with it. We explained to her there is no point in arguing when their decision is firm. It is a lesson learnt. A £795 ring bought with an awful after sale service and worst thing is a ring that can't be worn.. This is going to the trading standards not because of the money, simply because of the treatment and service how people are getting conned by them.!!!

Poor communication and customer service
Made an enquiry online about a signet ring I was looking to purchase and was after a solid one. Got speaking to the live chat as the website has limited details. She advised me she would have to contact a store to query and get back to me. A week later still nothing. You’d think for an £800 they could at least send me the email they promised. I’ll shop elsewhere in future. It’s clear from the rest of the reviews communication is a problem with this company.

They can’t follow a simple request.
Judging by the header page on this site, it’s a 50/50 chance whether the service is great or terrible. Unfortunately my experience is is the lower half.
Bought a watch over the phone, first mistake (I don’t have a local shop) and asked for a deferred delivery as it’s for a 50th. Told it was no problem. Next day received an email saying it was going for despatch. Called them almost immediately and said I asked for a deferred delivery. Again told no problem it was just a message in their system. Low and behold, it turns up next morning.
Call customer service. I said I’d keep it if they extended the warranty until my preferred delivery date. Told they can’t do that as it’s left the warehouse. They send me a QR code to post it back. It doesn’t work. Pay for it to be sent back by registered in the hope I get refunded.
Escalated my complaint to Anna Blackburn. A lady called Charlotte is now dealing with it. (I assume the same Charlotte who replies to these reviews). I’m kinda hoping I have better luck with her than I have with Hannah, Natalie, Tom and whoever else I care to remember is involved in this disaster.
Charlotte did suggest I keep the watch (already sent it back) and she would extend the warranty. The first thing I suggested to the call handler in the first place! Now gone through the pain of repacking going to the post office to send it back and having to wait in again to intercept it before my wife sees it for nothing.
A tip for anyone else, don’t order over the phone and whatever you do don’t ask for a delivery other than next day. As you’ll get it the next day. Good luck everyone and fingers crossed Charlotte finds out why someone can’t follow one simple request as apparently it’s an easy request to action. Unfortunately not in this occasion.

Some areas for improvements
Purchased a wedding ring from Beaverbrooks Trafford centre store. After speaking with the sales staff and with this being a replacement ring after 39 happy years of marriage,I wanted it to be something special.So I decided to go for the Court handmade ring, although it was expensive 2k I was sold on it being a one off and with it being of a very high quality, it was also mentioned that it came with a lifetime warranty. With it being specially made I had to pay upfront and sign an agreement that it is non refundable, so I could not return it. I was given a delivery date of 3 weeks as it had to be made. On the final week before delivery I called the store and was assured that it would be there on the Friday for collection, after not receiving any calls from the centre I gave them a ring and was told that it was waiting to be dispatched from head office and that it would be put on next day delivery. On the Saturday again no call from Beaverbrooks so I called them and was told that it had not arrived. After a conversation I was told that they would compensated me for the issues that I was experiencing and James would leave some notes on the system and he would call me on the Monday to update me. He did and the ring did arrive on the Monday, if I would have had the option I would have cancelled the ring because the communication was very poor. I arrived at the store on Monday and James was apologetic along with Clare who was facilitating my purchase. No mention regarding doing anything in the way of making up for the lack of customer service they must have missed the notes that they had left on the system. I asked if the ring came in a box and was told it does come in a lovely box. The box is embarrassing it is a paper box with Beaverbrooks name on it, I thought I had purchased a one off handmade ring for 2k. I would be embarrassed to present this to someone special, I did not see the box until I came home as I kept the ring on and it was placed in a gift bag, also no mention regarding the warranty on the receipt. To sum up the buying experience was very good but the after sales is very poor and they really need to look at their ring boxes and stop being so cheap skates. For a 2k ring you would expect a quality box. It is our 40th wedding anniversary next year and we are looking again to mark the event with a special purchase but it very well not be at Beaverbrooks. My wife did around 3 years ago replace her wedding ring from Beaverbrooks again it was expensive and I have checked the box she received it in and it is the same cheap paper box as I got with my ring, she has had some good after service support with it being cleaned at the store, so it could just be my bad luck but there is definitely room for improvement.

Beaverbrooks Merry Hill
Ordered a Tudor watch the other day or as they call it Registered my Interest for one. The level of service in this Branch at Merry Hill is second to none. They are in a temporary store at present while New Branch is being done so can't wait. Thank you to all at Beaverbrooks Merry Hill ??

Sinead at Festival Place Basingstoke…
Sinead at Festival Place Basingstoke store was so helpful and gave us so many options. She seemed genuinely excited for us to pick out wedding rings and was extremely helpful/understanding whilst we asked so many questions. She helped my partner pick out my engagement rings and was lovely and patience the few hours he was there. Couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you Sinead!
